Nairobi- -Samburu-Lake Nakuru-Masai Mara-Lake Naivasha-Baringo-Bogoria

Day 1 Nairobi-Masai Mara Reserve

Having been picked up from your hotel, depart Nairobi at 9.00 a.m. Drive to the Masai Mara arriving in time for a late afternoon/early evening game drive, stopping at the Great Rift Valley viewpoint and at Narok town for lunch and re-fuelling. Dinner and overnight at the Mara Sarova camp.

Day 2 Kenya Masai Mara National Park

Breakfast will be followed by a full day of game drives within the reserve. You will have a break at the hippo pool for your picnic lunch. At the Mara you should expect to see three out of the big five namely elephant, lion and buffalo though luck is essential to track the other two that is rhino and leopard which are very shy and elusive. A wide variety of antelopes and other plains game can be seen. Scavengers like hyena and vulture are common. Return to the camp for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 3 Masai Mara Game Park

After breakfast depart on a morning game drive in this reserve, which is essentially the northern extension of Tanzania 's Serengeti National Park . Lunch at the camp/ lodge or campsite. In the afternoon you have a choice of three activities: - a game drive or a nature walk with our Masai guides; the final choice is a visit to a Masai village to see their nomadic lifestyle at an extra cost payable directly to the Masai villagers. All activities end at the camp/lodge by 6.30 p.m. where you will retire for the night after dinner.

Day 4 Masai Mara-Lake Nakuru National Park

Early morning pre-breakfast game drive. After breakfast depart the Mara region for Nakuru arriving in time for lunch .The drive offers panoramic views of Mt.Longonot and Lake Naivasha from afar meaning you will see them from the main highway. After lunch in Lake Nakuru lodge proceed for a afternoon game viewing after which you retire to lake Nakuru lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 5 Lake Nakuru Park-Lake Baringo Rift Valley

Early breakfast then proceed on a game drive in this park which has a fantastic array of bird life including thousands of flamingos, white pelicans and the marabou stork, all water birds that breed into the lakes alkaline waters .You may spot white rhino and the rare Rothschild giraffe that have 5 horns instead of the usual three and clear instead of spotted shanked (legs).A visit to the baboon cliff offers a scenic panorama of the lake below, surrounded by a vast tract of euphorbia and acacia forest. Makalia falls within the park are an additional attraction. Then drive further north to Lake Baringo . Here you proceed for an hour's boat ride which enables you to see hippos at close range and the bird life that inhabits this lake as over 350 species of birds have been recorded here including some that conform to a migratory pattern, as well as crocodiles and Egyptian geese which migrate all the way from western Europe. Dinner and overnight at Lake Baringo country club.

Day 6 Lake Bogoria-Lake Naivasha Rift Valley Lakes

After breakfast in Lake Baringo then proceed to lake Bogoria where the hot water springs and geysers abound and plenty of medicinal springs. After breakfast depart your base lodge for Nairobi .
